I found an interesting website on Environmental Stories in 2010. This website is useful if you want to take a closer look at it yourself and it relates to some of the topics and issues we have been talking about and going over in class. All of the things being discussed relate to the environment, they have videos you can watch, articles you can read and easy access to all different kinds of information throughout the site.

Hey new group-y! I checked out this website that you posted and it sure has a lot of information. I liked how it included stories from all over the world. The video stated that we need to focus on what is happening NOW. Maybe by expanding our knowledge what happening elsewhere could help us improve what is happening here more close to our own homes & environment.
ReplyDeleteThis is a really interesting site. It had a variety of information. I viewed the powerpoint that was on the page and it talked about the forests in the world and what is remaining of them. I hate to think that the forests in this world keep being cut down. It is like common knowledge to me that it is ruining the ecosystem by cutting down forests, certainly not helping so I am surprised to see that this is still occuring. Thanks for sharing this site that has so much valuable information.
ReplyDeleteThis is a good site. It has a lot of different information on current issues. I looked at the power point slide and had no idea there was a proper cut on a tree. Pretty interesting.
